I passed the special agent exam just fine for the ATF but I cannot say this book ...

I can't say this book really helped, a lot of non-pertinent information and information overload. I passed the special agent exam just fine for the ATF but I cannot say this book had anything to do with it. I purchased this book and the other special agent written and published by Peterson's, the Peterson's book was far more helpful and included information about the entire process of becoming a special agent. Save your money, this book is outdated and irrelevant.

For anyone looking to study for any LEO / federal agent exam, this book is poor quality and out of date. I suggest looking at the other options available on Amazon. The best starter reference guide I am aware is Arco 12th edition "Master the Special Agent Exam"

About the Author

Roy Henry Vickers is a renowned carver, painter and printmaker whose Eagle Aerie Gallery in Tofino, BC, has become a provincial landmark. In 1998, Roy was appointed to the Order of British Columbia and in 2006, the Order of Canada. He is the co-author of the immensely popular Northwest Coast Legends series and the author of several books that showcase his art, including Storyteller (Harbour Publishing, 2014). He currently lives in Hazelton, BC.

Robert (Lucky) Budd holds an MA in history and has digitized many high-profile oral history collections including that of the Nisga'a First Nation. As well as co-authoring the Northwest Coast Legends series, he is the author of Voices of British Columbia (Douglas & McIntyre, 2010), a bestseller that was shortlisted for the 2011 Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award, and its sequel, Echoes of British Columbia (Harbour Publishing, 2014). Nice format, So-So Image Quality

This collection from the Getty is a good overview of Cameron's work and the descriptions for each photo are more detailed than most photo books. Overall, I like the format and and presentation. As with all books in the Focus series, however, the photo reproduction leaves quite a bit to be desired.

It was a pleasant surprise to get to know this 19th century photographer. The images are beautiful and have a romantic dreamlike atmosphere that somehow recall pre-raphaelite paintings. The edition is well done and texts suit well the exquisite photographs.
